Harmoni Air started as a one-person operation in George Town. It still runs that way — one plumber, one customer at a time, each job finished properly before the next one begins.
OUR STORY
Where Harmoni Air began.
The name Harmoni Air comes from a simple idea — water moving through a home should do so quietly, without drama. A well-installed tap doesn't drip. A properly sealed joint doesn't seep. A plumbing system in good order doesn't demand attention.
Harmoni Air was set up in 2018 by Ahmad Zikri, a plumber who spent years working with a larger contractor before deciding he wanted to run jobs differently. He found that large crews moved quickly but left residents unsure of what had been done. The written summary Harmoni Air now provides after every Pipe Joint Inspection started as something he did informally — a note left on the kitchen counter so the homeowner knew what had been tightened and why.
Today, Harmoni Air handles three clearly scoped services — a single-fault call, a pipe joint inspection, and a whole-home bathroom refit. The pricing is fixed, the work is done by the same person who shows up at the door, and nothing is signed off without a check.
Based at Lebuh Light in George Town, the business covers most of Penang island. The clientele is mostly residential — homeowners who prefer to know what they're paying for and speak to the person doing the work.

Work area protection
We lay protective covers before starting and clear up fully before leaving. Your floors and cabinets stay as we found them.
Testing before sign-off
Every repaired or replaced fixture is tested under normal operating pressure before the job is considered done. No exceptions.
Written job summaries
Inspection jobs include a short written summary of what was found, what was tightened or replaced, and what to monitor going forward.
Fixed pricing, no extras
The price stated when you book is the price you pay. Any change in scope is discussed and agreed before work proceeds.
Quality parts used
We use replacement hoses, washers, and fittings sourced from established Malaysian suppliers. Not the cheapest option, but ones that hold.

Harmoni Air operates on the principle that plumbing is maintenance work — it should be done carefully and documented so the household knows the state of things. A dripping tap might seem minor, but it often signals a worn washer that will worsen over time. A slow drain usually has a straightforward cause. Catching these things early, and fixing them properly the first time, is what we focus on.
Our Single-Service Call is designed for households who have identified a specific issue and want it resolved in one visit. The Pipe Joint Inspection suits homes that haven't had their plumbing checked recently — older properties in George Town especially benefit from this, as fittings installed in the 1980s and 90s often show wear at the union points. The Whole-Home Bathroom Refit is a coordinated replacement of fixtures across two bathrooms, handled as a single job with full testing before sign-off.
